Before you start flying your DJI Mavic 2, it's best to get an understanding on the gear you'll be using and how to set it up.
In this tutorial, we'll take you through some simple steps to get you on your way to flying.
How to take off and fly the DJI Mavic 2 Drone
- Unfold Remote Controller.
The DJI Remote Controller has two clamps that can be unfolded to hold your phone.
- Attach RC Sticks.
The RC Sticks can easily be screwed in by hand. Be careful not to overtighten the RC Sticks.
- Connect Phone to Remote Controller.
You can now attach a mobile phone to the unfolded Remote Control clamps.
- Unfold the DJI Mavic 2.
Unfold the DJI Mavic 2 landing gears.
- Press and Hold DJI Mavic 2 Power Button.
To turn on the DJI Mavic 2, simply press and hold the Power button on the battery.
- Press and Hold Controller Power Button.
The Remote Control Power button is situated in the top right corner.
- Place Aircraft on Level Ground.
Place the DJI Mavic 2 on level ground to take off safely. This will also make it easier if you need to hit the Return Home button.
- Launch DJI GO 4 App.
Download and launch the DJI GO 4 App. - Push Both Sticks to Bottom Inner Corners.
To take off, push both RC Sticks to the bottom inner corners.
- Push Left Stick Up.
To take off simply push the left RC Stick upwards to ascend the aircraft.
