In this fast Heliguy™ tutorial you'll learn how to connect you DJI Pocket 2 to the DJI MIMO App and start using all it's features.





  1. Connect DJI Pocket 2 to Smartphone

    Small enough to slip into your pocket, the DJI Pocket 2 Creator Combo is an intelligent 3-axis gimbal which can be taken anywhere. The Pocket 2 benefits from a larger sensor than the Osmo Pocket, with a 1/1.7″ sensor. It also has a 20mm f/1.8 lens with 93° FOV to enable a bright and wide cinematic look. Creatives have the tools to obtain crisp content, thanks to the Pocket's ability to shoot video at 4k/60fps at 100Mbps and capture 16MP or 64MP images in high-resolution mode. Other highlights include. HDR video has been added to make videos pop with vivid colours. Redeveloped AutoFocus, using Hybrid 2.0 AF. This blend of phase and contrast detection increases speed and accuracy. 8x zoom using 64MP mode, with 4x lossless quality using 1080p/16MP mode.

    Use the Smartphone Adapter to connect your smartphone to the DJI Pocket 2.

  2. DJI MIMO will Launch Automatically

    Small enough to slip into your pocket, the DJI Pocket 2 Creator Combo is an intelligent 3-axis gimbal which can be taken anywhere.     No need to press anything else as the DJI MIMO App will launch automatically if you have it downloaded.

  3. Choose Shooting Type

    You can now decide what Shooting Mode you want to choose. Shooting modes can be found on the right hand side of the MIMO App. Scroll through the Shooting Modes to select one.

  4. Tap Flip Camera Icon

    The camera will now flip to Selfie Mode and now face you. This is perfect for vlogging and taking selfies. Click the button again to flip the camera back.

  5. Click Re-centre Icon

    The Re-centre Icon allows you to centre the Pocket 2. No matter what angle you've got the Pocket 2 on it'll re-centre itself back to it's original point.

  6. Tap Shutter Button

    The Shutter Button takes photos and videos depending on what Shooting Mode you have selected.

  7. Frame Subject to Enable ActiveTrack

    By framing a subject you'll activate ActiveTrack. This means the Pocket 2 will actively track the subject you have framed.

  8. Preview Content After Capturing

  9. Tap Quality Icon

    Choose the frame rate and aspect ratio in the Quality Settings Menu.
